we have:$$1<2 $$ $$1 \cdot\log_4 0.5 < 2 \cdot \log_4 0.5 $$
Now, using log rules$$\log_4 0.5^1 < \log_4 0.5^2 $$ $$ 0.5^1 < 0.5^2 $$ $$0.5 < 0.25 $$
Wait a minute, that's not right! Where did I go wrong?
