Not sure if I had bored you out with a list of countries, but I find this quite interesting.

Making new flags aren't easy you also have to consider the influence of different empires throughout history, for example the Australian flag has the English cross on the upper left because it used to be conquered by the British

Hungary and Iran are quite similar too, same as Tunisia and Turkey.
