I think theoretically it would only work if everyone who has COVID reports it on NOVID, and everyone uses NOVID at all times.

@divinedolphin I don't think everyone needs to use Novid, but everyone who does use it must use it correctly and report themselves if they have Covid. Another problem is that people might report themselves with Covid even if they don't actually have it.

@coherentmango But if a person without NOVID and with COVID comes into contact with a person with NOVID, NOVID wouldn't know that they had close contact with a COVID positive person. If the person with NOVID got COVID from the other person, they wouldn't know unless they were tested.
