When you have an average greater than one, every try that gets you less points (whole number though) than your amount of tries divided by your amount of points before current try brings your average closer to 1? But what if you hit the rock bottom of one? Can you get lower than 1 or is it even possible to bring your average to 1?
And about that 1 divided by 5/2 thing I found that its 2/5 which is the reciprocal of 5/2. Why? Could it be because 5/2 times 2/5 is 1?

The only way to have an average of 1 is to have successfully made every single shot that you attempt; so as long as there was at least one miss, you can't reach the exact number of 1. You can get arbitrarily close, though!

About the 5/2, yes, that's a good way to think of it! 5/2 is the reciprocal of 2/5, because the two of them multiply together to become 1.

        Happy Learning!
