Why does choice iv. not work in the mini question?

Also is it really just called the Hockey Stick Theorem? Because I'd want to get the name right when I show off um inform my friends about it.

I think it's the Hockey Stick Identity, but I usually refer to it as Hockey Stick Theorem.
