Can anyone help me with this question?
When Jack wakes up everyday, he picks a sock. There is 1 blue sock, 2 white socks, 3 red socks, and 4 yellow
socks. Because Jack is biased in his pick, the probability of him picking out a blue sock is 4 times as likely as
a yellow sock, 3 times as likely as a red sock, and 2 times as likely as a white sock. What is the probability of
him picking a yellow or white sock? -

@superdog I'm getting half, but it appears, on the test doc, that half isn't an answer choice, so I'm not sure anymore...

The probability of Jack picking a yellow or white sock is 0.6 (60%).
The probability of Jack picking a blue sock is 4/14 (28.6%)
The probability of Jack picking a red sock is 3/14 (21.4%)
The probability of Jack picking a white sock is 2/14 (14.3%)
The probability of Jack picking a yellow sock is 1/14 (7.1%)
Therefore, the probability of Jack picking a yellow or white sock is 0.6 (60%)
