The Shape of the Gears
-
When Prof. Loh said that the shape of the three gears could be in any shape, why did he draw the three gears in the shape of a triangle, then? While I was doing the Your Turn question, I imagined the gears were in a straight line like the wheels on a tank. Does this mean the question is only doable if the gears are in a triangular shape? Please explain. Thanks

@geniusraccoon Hmmm I think its because the three gears need to be in a triangle to move, because the gears wont work one vs one on a line, you will be missing the first and the third if u use a line
