Choose notation

There’s just $\text{\Huge{WAY TOO MANY}}$ choose symbols!!! (Exclamation marks of frustration and confusion)
I think it’s based on which country you are in. The two Prof Loh showed are probably American, and my two Australian maths teacher both writes different choose symbols...

So it gets quite very confusing.

@divinedolphin On the bright side, since it doesn't really make sense to choose 9 things out of 3, you can probably deduce that this means "ways to choose 3 things out of 9."
