I really like how Prof. Loh's courses are formatted. In school, the teachers usually say "This is how you do the problem now do 10 of these problems" (Prof. Loh just said this). In the courses, you get to tackle the problem yourself, getting hints along the way, and hear the explanation after experiencing the fun of figuring out a really hard problem.

Practice is a very good way to master something but you aren't going to get far just on it
