Hello, I'm currently in the Mock AMC 8 livestream, and there seems to be a problem with the chat and the sheer amount of participants in the meeting. Right now, there are 433 participants in the Zoom meeting. Usually, just the amount of participants would make Zoom crash. But, since the chat is unrestricted and open to everyone, a lot of spam has been sent and it's making the meeting even more laggy. A lot of people are now spamming "Stop spamming" or "Be quiet" but they don't seem to realize that they're spamming too. The messages are becoming really distracting and are affecting the meeting quality. Some people can't see Prof. Po-shen Loh, some people are experiencing extreme lag (like me), and some people's screens are completely frozen.

So,

Can you disable the chat? If you can, please do so!!!
Next time the Daily Challenge hosts something like this, please make it a YouTube livestream instead of trying it on Zoom. Using YouTube will increase the quality a lot and will be easier to moderate.
