I noticed that 12 is 6x2. In other words, I need to find the options that are divisible by 6 and divide it by 2. That is becuase 6 is half of 2. I learned that the divisibility of 6 is 2x3 so the number must add to divide by 3 and is even. I can cross out the two odd cases then. Now, I divide by 2 to get 4/2=2.
